Hi! I’m MJ… short for Melodie Joy . Thank you for visiting and taking an interest in the collective healing work!Â
Just by being you, you pave the way for others to be true which creates a ripple effect of healing. So, thank you for your contribution of just BEing.Â
I created this sacred space to share my story, insights and expertise in the realm of emotional clearing and the law of attraction which I have studied for over a decade.
This synergy of emotional clearing, physics and philosophy led me to the art of hypnotherapy. Hypnosis combines the principles of spiritual alchemy, neuroscience, and psychology paired with neurolinguistic programming (NLP).
While psychotherapy or talk therapy can be very beneficial, it works with individuals from a conscious or busy beta brainwave level. Â While this can help client’s to identify and objectify their problems but not always achieve complete resolution. Â
In complement, hypnosis heals from a deep level of subconscious awareness. This brainwave pattern is known as theta or super consciousness. This is a highly self-aware, solution oriented state which houses our beliefs, emotions, behaviors, memories, and bodily functions. This is what creates our experience and drives our ambitions OR suppresses them through unconscious limiting beliefs.
As I continued to explore this innate process, I was thrilled to discover that it was just a more simplified and structured variation of my own emotional clearing process. I had been innately practicing the art of inner prosperity / self-hypnosis my entire life. This is how Alchemy of Emotion came to be.

Keep Calm⌠I am an Expert by Experience
I donât have a Ph.D. Iâm not claiming to be Paramahansa Yogananda or Adyashati. Iâm just another traveler journeying alongside you; observing, learning, and evolving
.
Professionally, Iâve toggled between the worlds of art and medicine as scenic artist to medical documentation specialist in diagnostic pathology.
Since 2010, I’ve cozied up with metaphysical books on the law of attraction, philosophy, energy healing, nutrition, Ayurveda, and spiritual alchemyâŚsprinkled with a bit of science and physics to solidify the âmysticism.â
Iâd refer to myself as a dreamer/idealist most of the time, an explorer of inner worlds. I was very sensitive growing up and struggled with chronic illnesses, depression, and anxiety for majority of my life.
Self-pity was my middle name until I discovered what lies beneath the dark is the pathway to inner prosperity and healing. I just had to close my eyes, tune in to my own subtle energies and be still.Â
For the most part, I was a loner, an introvert; I took great solace and comfort in my imagination and innerworkings of the mind, body and spirit. Â
I used to be one of the most pessimistic humans on earth. Â However, after a lifetime of inner work through self-realization, my mind has adapted to a new way of perceiving, translating âdisastersâ and âmisfortuneâ into a lesson or a detour; cracking open the doorway into the extraordinary.
I still face challenges of course, but those shadows or dark nights only prompt further exploration towards the light, which promotes clarity, inspiration, higher understanding and a new way to see or further pointing the way of how to just be.
The Only Way Out Is In
I have always been overwhelmingly sensitive and emotional. I hold a broad view of life but had been prone to experience intense highs and lows.
Due to a chronic illness, paired with depression and anxiety, I have learned to tune in to the needs of my soul to reawaken my joyful inner child.
For this reason, I donât take myself too seriously, I have a very playful spirit; I love art, creative writing, poetry, and videogames. I can be very reserved, introspective and quiet at times to very quirky, silly and random. My mind tends to jump from one abstract thought to another.
Growing up, I developed a rich inner life as I would often feel intensely lonely from time to time, with the perception that there is a wall of glass separating me from the rest of the world.
It has been easier for me to live through my imagination or by immersing myself in the world of spirituality and psychology. Iâm always observing, searching for solutions and digging into the etiology of dis-ease and human behavior.
I view vulnerability as a beautiful and humbling quality, often foraging through the burrows of emotional discomfort that most people avoid, but as the saying goes,
The wound is the place where the light enters you. ~ RumiÂ
Iâm here traversing this endless journey into the human spirit because pain and suffering have been a constant companion in my life and my most profound teacher.
Major depression, chronic anxiety, allergies and illness plagued me since my youth only to be compounded by a condition labeled as interstitial cystitis.
Not only was the pain and brain fog debilitating, but the parade of other physical and cognitive symptoms severely impaired my ability to live, work, socialize and function “normally”.
In meeting others with this condition, my feelings were validated. Many of us had found ourselves regularly contemplating the thought of ending it all.
Conventional medicine provided no viable solutions so IÂ spent years plastering on a fake smile for the world and insulated within the confines of my sacred space.
Throughout my journey, Iâve posted a lot of dark poetry and quotes about pain. It mightâve even annoyed some people, but in that ebb nâ flow of giving up and letting go, I surrendered.
After so many years of what seemed like a soulless existence, the suffering and spiritual âdisunionâ consumed me until finally, I died.
Death is a stripping away of all that is not you. The secret to life is to âdie before you dieâ – and find that there is no death. ~Eckhart Tolle
It came down to two choices, and I wasnât ready to say âYu gonplei ste odon,â for any fans of The 100, my fight wasnât over yet.
In my surrender and âcracking openâ, it allowed the light, inspiration and solutions to flood in like a deluge.
After years of research and connecting dots, I uncovered the etiology of my dis-ease and began implementing extreme holistic dietary modifications . Intuitively guided by the spirit of God, I was led to natural treatments and now in remission from this âincurableâ and conventionally misunderstood disorder.
Learn the alchemy true human beings know. The moment you accept what troubles you’ve been given, the door will open. ~ RumiÂ
Make Peace a Priority
Whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it.  Always work with it, not against it. ~  Eckhart Tolle
Frequent âTea timeâ or mindful moments are essential for maintaining alignment and interconnectedness with our truth or highest self.  As an introverted feeler, I am more focused on my inner world of emotions.  These present moment reminders allow us to ground into our senses; to relax, relate, release and recalibrate.
I look for depth and meaning in everything. I see connections and patterns everywhere; often expressing myself through quotes, music, poetry or cinematic references.
Those that donât understand me may see this constant internal reflection and integration as somewhat self-absorbed. I used to experience extreme emotional swings from feeling everything all at once to reaching an overload, shutting down, and feeling nothing at all.
I became fascinated by this internal emotional pendulum swing phenomena and came to accept it as a necessary part of my personal growth, a pathway to healing; and ultimately, my personal contribution to the collective ripple effect.
Through consistent, objective observation; deeper understanding leads us back to the center of stillness.
From this sacred space, lies the most powerful place to elicit profound change in the world. We donât need to run around trying to change everyone or expect them to change for us. Â Perception changes everything and loving people right where they are can set them free.Â
Sometimes it takes an overwhelming breakdown to have an undeniable breakthrough. â
Guided by the philosophy of the principles of oneness and the process of emotional alchemy, I hope that in sharing my own personal experience, others may be moved to free themselves from self-imposed limitations and false beliefs.
By embracing all spectrums of emotion, negative and positive, we align with the truth. We transform into lightkeepers, becoming a beacon for others that have also lost sight of the shore.
Be Where You Are NowâŚ
In all of this, Iâve discovered that the awareness of subtle energy lights up the pathway to whole-person healing…
Through trust and intuition, we gain strength, higher guidance  and insight.
Realigning with our inner being awakens our âhiddenâ potential, a free-flowing, infinite channel of clarity, inspiration, and understanding, leading to internal and external prosperity.
Weâve already paved the wayâŚwe just need to follow the trail of breadcrumbs weâve previously laid out for ourselvesâŚAlthough, the simplest things can seem like the hardest to doâŚÂ
As you start to walk on the way, the way appears.
Rumi
Our nature is stillness.
Our truth lies in silence.
Our power is in the present moment, ownership and unconditional love. Through self-realization, we expand as deliberate creators.
We came into this world with a built-in emotional compass knowing who we are, what we came here to do, when and whyâŚuntil we got in our own way.
The door is always open and our emotions are the keys to unlocking our inner power and potential. We just have to learn how to see with our eyes closed.
Out of clutter, find simplicity. From discord, find harmony.. In the middle of difficulty, lies opportunity.
Albert Einstein
Tea Time…
 Have Tea with Your Emotions.Â
Just sit with it.. Feel it to Heal itÂ
